Artisan candles

Coconut–soy wax and a cotton wick, poured into eight-ounce amber glass. Scented lightly enough to live in a small room.

Who makes it

It started with one color.

Shreya Singh kept putting the same green into everything she made — candles for friends, sachets for the linen closet, a paint kit for the kitchen table on a slow Saturday. Enough people asked where to buy them that it stopped being a hobby.

Chandra Bloom is still her hands and still small batches, made here in the Triangle. Nothing gets listed until she’d put it in her own house.
